i think the satellites do that well enough on their own. by the time you can afford to buy kerfus, you kind of deserve to get out of that early-game slog. buying expensive things like kerfus to help manage satellites should actually carry some weight by allowing you to shift your focus from your daily everyday maintenance to exploring and investigating or doing whatever else you want to do

i love the game, but have to say that the transformers are a horrible mechanic. i understand wanting to force the player to leave the safety of the base, but the satellites already do that well enough. sure, you can say "but kerfus!" sure, you can buy kerfus. but all they do is fix the things. they don't get codes for your dailies. plus, for the price of 500 you absolutely deserve to not have to worry about maintenance anymore. i think either transformers should be removed, reworked, or kerfus should be allowed to fix them. as they stand i don't think anyone likes them.
